 Public Relations Officers
Since we are campaigning for the
ordination of women, our voice needs to be heard in the media of our time. Our
website is our key resource, but we need to reach out in many other ways to be
really successful.
Essential qualities we are looking
for:
- You can take responsibility for a specific task.
You possess creativity, know how to inspire people, have achieved
results, etc.
- You speak and write English. English does not
need to be your mother tongue, but a lot of ur communication with you will be
conducted through English.
- You are committed to the cause of women. You
need not be a fanatic women's libber though. In fact we definitely prefer
someone with a balanced approach.
- You understand how the modern media work. You
may be a professional. Or you have experience of reaching out through the
press, radio or TV.
- You are not afraid of fundraising when the opportunity
presents itself. We can supply you with material for project
applications, but are you prepared to approach people on our behalf? The
precise skills in all such things can be learnt as long as the basic
willingness and ability for fundraising is there.
Conditions of
work
You are asked to work on a
voluntary basis - but entirely within the limits and/or time you may be able to
give to this task. You will help us on a flexible basis. We are looking for
executives and professionals -- retired or somewhat independent -- who can
afford to help us without pay, or for students who would want to help us to
gain experience in the field, and so on. We need your help.
It is our policy to keep the
identity of our public relations officers confidential, unless they prefer
their name to be known.

Translators
It is our aim to present information
in many languages to make our message easily accessible. We have major sections
in the most widely used languages. We offer short introductory texts in many
other languages (25 at present).
We urgently need translators for
Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic and Russian. We also need translators for national
and local languages.
Essential qualities we are looking
for in translators:
- You have the ability to express yourself well in your own
language.
- You are familar with computers so that you can send us
translated text in electronic format.
- You share our concerns about the position of women.
- You know sufficient English to be able to communicate with our
core editiorial team.
Conditions of work
You are asked to work on a
voluntary basis - but entirely within the limits and/or time you may be able to
give to this task. You will help us on a flexible basis, on days that suit you.
Please get in touch, tell us about your language and we will send you the
text(s) that need to be translated first.
We acknowledge our translators
at the bottom of each translated text. If you prefer, you can also adopt a pen
name for that purpose.

Editorial Team Members
Essential qualities we are looking
for in editors:
- You have basic secretarial skills or are willing to learn
them.
- You are familar with computers or look forward to explore this
new world of electronic adventure.
- You share our concerns about the position of women.
- You do not mind working in a friendly or crowded environment
and are willing to share our limited facilities with other team members.
- You live sufficiently close to Rickmansworth (North London) to
travel to our office without too much hardship (see address below). Or
you are prepared to help us from your computer at home - with communication
through email and SKYPE.

You are asked to work on a
voluntary basis - but entirely within the limits and/or time you may be able to
give to this task. You will help us on a flexible basis, on days that suit you.

Academic Advisors
 On our website we are trying to present information that is
academically justified. Our cause is not served by making untrue or unproven
claims. To achieve this level of academic quality we need the advice of experts
in many fields.
Essential qualities we are looking
for:
- You are academically qualified and familar with an
academic discipline. We need advisors in many fields: theology,
ethics, law, scripture, history, psychology, sociology, etc.
- You have teaching experience, have done research or
have written on your specialization.
- You speak and write English. English does not
need to be your mother tongue, but a lot of our communication within the team
of academic advisors will be conducted through English.
- You are committed to the cause of women. You
need not be a fanatic women's libber though, in fact we definitely prefer
someone with a balanced approach.
Conditions of
work
You will give us advice on a
voluntary basis - but entirely within your limits of time and availability. We
may either ask your advice on a particular academic topic or problem, or
request you to take part in a discussion by a group of our advisors.
It is our policy to keep the
identity of our academic advisors confidential so as to protect them from
unwanted harassment.
