Activity
I edited the journal Ecotheology
from 1993-2001, and now co-edit the series (15 vols.) Introducing Feminist
Theology for Sheffield Academic Press, now Continuum. (Co published with
Pilgrim, New York). I also supervise PHD Research students at Lasmpeter, in the
University of Wales.
- I am a Trustee of the Dalit
Solidarity Network, UK. I am a member of the Advisory Board of the Trinity
Institute for Christianity and Culture.
- I am a former President of the
European Society of Women in Theological Research
- I lecture widely, in a number of
countries in areas of social justice, and related areas of prophetic and
ecological spirituality.
- I am involved in Kairos Europa, a network of
European Churches and coalitions opposed to globalisation.
- I continue to work as a Trustee of the NGO I
co-founded, Wells for India,(focusing on water in desert areas and
related social issues. This involves annual visits to Rajasthan, and working
with Gandhian NGOs in India. In January 2001 I organised a seminar with
scholars in the University of Rajasthan on “Women and Globalisation”.
Personal
I am married to Nicholas Grey. We have
4 children, all pursuing their own careers. We live in a little thatched
cottage by the river Test.
